Parent Helpers

If you would like to be involved further in the life of the school and your commitments allow it, you might like to consider becoming a Volunteer Helper in school. All volunteers are very much valued at Stourfield Infant School and we recognise the contribution they make. Volunteers help within a specific class but might be asked to support in other ways, for example accompanying a class on an educational visit.

Each year in the Autumn term a letter goes out to all parents and guardians inviting them to consider becoming a volunteer. This is subject to attending an information session, interview, a character reference and a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The school has a quota for 6 new DBSs for each academic year.
