Admissions
Children are admitted to Stourfleld Infant School according to the criteria set out in our Admissions Policy. Although we are part of a Multi Academy Trust and Twynham Learning is the Admissions Authority, we employ Bournemouth to administer our admissions. The school's Published Admissions Number is 120.
More information and details on how to apply for a school place (including deadlines for applications), can be found on the Bournemouth Borough Council Admissions Website, obtained from the school office, or from the Bournemouth Admissions Team at Dorset House 01202 456222. Parents wishing to visit the school prior to registering their child are most welcome to contact the school office for an appointment to do so.

Starting School
In the term prior to starting, children are invited to attend a play session at school. This helps the children to get to know their teacher and the school.
Parents are invited to attend an evening meeting which explains something of our teaching methods and provides an opportunity to meet with teachers.
We also visit a number of pre-school settings in preparation for children starting school. Home Visits are made at the start of September, should parents sign up for one.
Please find further information on the left of this page.
Please note that hard copies of any policies or forms can be obtained from the school office.
