Stourfield Infant School has a Family Council which is comprised of Parents/Guardians who are representative of the diverse community stakeholders. The role of the Family Council is to share ideas, support in shaping some of the processes in school and provide an opportunity for impact assessment of some initiatives.
Family Council members are a representative voice to ensure that we are supporting the community in the best way. At least three meetings are held throughout the year and are always attended by a member of staff.
The Family Council has been key in the revision of the Induction Pack for new families whose children start during, or after, the Reception Year and the re-launch of Home Learning.
